Homemade CBD Hummus

| Chickpeas | 300 g |
| Garlic | 2 cloves |
| Lemon juice | 25 mL |
| Olive oil or hemp seed oil | 45 mL |
| CBD oil 5% | 3 drops |
| Hot chili powder | To taste |
| Hemp seeds | 10 g |
| Salt | 1 tsp |
| Cumin | 1 tsp |
Preparation
1. Soaking: Soak the chickpeas in plenty of cold water for at least 12 hours.
2. Cooking: Bring 2 L of water to a boil with one garlic clove, then add the chickpeas. Simmer for 1.5 to 2 hours. Season with salt and pepper halfway through cooking.
3. Draining and blending: Drain the chickpeas, reserving some cooking water. Blend until smooth, then return to low heat while stirring regularly.
4. Seasoning and emulsifying: Gently whisk in olive oil and CBD oil drops. Add some cooking water and lemon juice to reach the desired consistency. Mash the remaining garlic with oil and add it. Sprinkle with cumin and adjust seasoning to taste.
5. Serving: Garnish the hummus with hemp seeds, a drizzle of CBD oil, and fresh basil leaves. Serve chilled with toasted bread or Lebanese bread.
